Inspirations: Frothy Elegance Trend 2013

16 January 2013

One trend that I see for that traditional bride is called Frothy Elegance.

Like previous years, neutrals remain a go to palette for classic and traditional brides but you will see a warming with more accent of camel, milk tea, taupe, creme de la creme, rose gold.

Shoes like the gladiator will be have metalic finishes. The gardenia will be an important flowers in this trend. Teardrop jewels will be mixed with radiant rounds to form floral motif in jewels.  Gowns are fluffy with multi pleats.

Cut crystal containers, canopies, draping, mesh details.  Super thick and oversized invitations.  Grand ceremonies.

Brides will change to shorter, flirty, Gatsby style dresses for the cocktail hours. Chairs for the reception will be more regal.  Move over Chiavari! Perhaps an Infinity chair from Blueprint Studios.

The cake must be simple with grand layers.  This is just one of many cake ideas for this client.
Everything looks regal.  It's Frothy Elegance.

Flowers are structural, more architectural, grand.  There are lots of draping in the room but instead of white sheer or off white georgette, I think there should be some nude hues to give it more warmth.
We want a rosy disposition.

What do you love about this trend? post signatureA few days ago, I said that Emerald is the It color for 2013 and as the weeks continue, I will feature more trends.

Elegant, romantic, and oh-so-beautiful. Let's hope this theme doesn't disappear anytime soon. I love the flowing dresses and flirty footwear.
