Dear Nancy's Brown Bag fans ----
7 years ago, I hired my first assistant, Patricia Lee who I call P Girl(and will continue to even though she is now going to be referred to as Trish Lee). She was this firecracker who injected fire under my belly. Her vivacious personality along with her street smarts was a combination that I found admirable. Honesty, it was scary stuff in the best way. P Girl came to me dreaming about opening her own bridal line which at that time seemed like it was going to be a good idea but who knew that the economy was going to sour, right?
Given her tenacious spirit, there was no doubt in my mind, that one day, she would get there but the when was always uncertain. Often things don't happen overnight but I applaud Trish for giving it her all. After her stint here at Nancy Liu Chin Designs, she left to work for Amy Kuschel Bride for the past four years. The girl has put in her dues.
I'm thrilled to announce the launch of Trish Lee San Francisco
And Something Blue (3600 Sacramento Street) in beautiful and luxe Presidio Heights.
And Something Blue is not your mother's bridal shop and the owners Lisa and Danielle has made a splash in San Francisco with a decidedly cheeky approach - think Parisian/Upper East Side sophistication wrapped around a little urban grit and glam.
Trish Lee's premiere collection is for the modern, discerning, and sometimes ironic bride. Trish Lee's gowns works perfectly in Danielle's magical space where a San Francisco bride, inspired by true love, comes to create her version of today's stylish (wine country, Great Gatsby, art deco, rustic elegance) wedding.
This is the story of a perfect match-made in SF in every sense.
Congrats Trish(aka P Gril)....to say I am proud is a complete understatement. You are Faboo.
